Sophomores are required to complete their Sophomore Research Requirement by May 15th 2010 along with their 20 service learning hours to be promoted to their Junior Year. Students are asked to research five colleges and five scholarships.
Senior year, students will apply to a minimum of five higher educational institutions and this project will help them get a jump start on that process. Sophomores are asked to find out what ACT score and GPA they will need to be admitted to the universities of their choice.
My hopes are that this will give them more focus as to why they should get good grades now so that they can get where they want to be in three years, at the college of their choice. Sophomore Research Requirement Forms should be turned into Ms. Inez Jones in room 123 and service learning hours are to be turned into Dr. Wyatt in the counseling department.
